Sicom follows a proven, ISO quality controlled process from design to delivery to ensure fabrication of exact-to-spec components.

 

CAD
AUTO-CAD and SOLIDWORKS are primarily used for prototype models. We can take any form of input from sketch data to existing CAD drawings and create the geometry needed for your prototype. We can also assist you with engineering to add any functionality that your component requires.

Measuring
For replacement parts, our CNC Measuring Machine will encircle your component, automatically probing and recording exact dimensions. The result will be a 3D digital CAD model used to program and machine an exact replica part.

 

CAM
CAM is the process where the machine tool path is programmed. We use a variety of CAM software to accomplish this including MasterCam and Gibbs. Precision and efficiency are our priorities when creating the program.

CNC Machining
We machine parts from steel, stainless steel, titanium, aluminum and plastic. We use 3, 4 and 5 axis machining centers with a large range of tool sizes that yield the most accurate part possible. All of our equipment is set up to allow the operators to run multiple machines. This allows for the highest possible throughput, reduced labour costs and the quickest turnarounds possible.
